brstrongThe job responsibilities emmay /eminclude the following:/strongbrul liUsing hand-held or remotely controlled welding equipment to join or cut metal parts, or fill holes, indentations, or the seams of metal products./li liStudying blueprints, sketches, or specifications and calculating dimensions to be welded./li liInspecting structures or materials to be welded and monitoring the welding process to avoid overheating./li liMaintaining equipment and machinery./li liWorking outdoors, often in inclement weather, on a scaffold or high platform.
