Your Day
Loading and unloading materials, tools and equipment
Cleaning and preparing job sites
Digging trenches, setting plumbing and line braces for straight walls and backfilling holes
Operating tools such as drills, saws, grinders and jackhammers
Mixing, pouring, spreading and leveling concrete or asphalt
Assisting skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters or masons
Following health and safety regulations, including the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards
Building and dismantling scaffolding, ramps or temporary structures
Moving materials using wheelbarrows, carts or dollies
