Your Job
The Sanitarian leads the organization’s effort to develop and maintain its sanitation program in accordance with appropriate cGMPs. This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining facility hygiene, chemical safety, SDS management, chemical inventory, and all documentation related to facility cleaning.
Purpose
Provide support to the Sanitation Department in delivering cleaned and sanitary equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform all activities related to sanitation
Clean product transfer lines, UHT pasteurizing units, tanks, pumps, fillers, fruit feeders, and surrounding environments
Inspect equipment cleanliness and ensure it meets established standards
Follow all sanitation procedures and work instructions
Review chemical labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) as required
Prepare chemical concentrations according to specified instruct

Maintain awareness of chemical hazards and use proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Ensure compliance with company safety rules, cGMPs, and Food Safety Plans (PC2 PC5)
Monitor and report any food safety concerns or observations
Your Experience
Experience in cleaning machines that produce food products is a must
Strong organizational skills
Ability to use hand tools
Flexibility, dependability, and attention to detail
Effective time management
High School Diploma or GED required
